As an Immediate Emergency Care (IEC) Trainer, you’ll use your clinical knowledge and frontline experience to deliver high‑quality emergency care and advanced first aid training to emergency services personnel, helping learners build the confidence and capability needed to perform in critical situations.
Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:
- Deliver Immediate Emergency Care and Advanced First Aid training to learners across emergency service organisations
- Teach both small and large groups in line with approved training standards and syllabuses
- Assess learner performance and support successful completion of training programmes
- Maintain accurate training records, reports, and learner documentation using IT systems and Microsoft Office
- Represent Babcock professionally while promoting safe, engaging, and effective learning environments
Please note that this position involves travel/working across a range of internal and customer sites, as a requirement of the role. The role is based onsite at Beckton or Park Royal, London, and the set working times are Monday to Friday, totalling 37.5 hours per week, with occasional weekend work. Travel to other Babcock and customer sites will be expected.
Essential experience of the Immediate Emergency Care Trainer:
- Demonstrating current and comprehensive knowledge of Immediate Emergency Care clinical techniques
- Using Microsoft Office and digital systems confidently for administration and reporting
- Communicating effectively with learners and stakeholders in fast‑paced environments
Qualifications for the Emergency Care Trainer:
- FREC Level 3 qualification – essential
- FREC Level 4 qualification – desirable
Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
