The role involves supporting the successful delivery of construction, infrastructure and engineering projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards of quality. You will work closely with project managers, contractors and stakeholders, developing valuable experience that will accelerate your professional growth and open future career opportunities within one of the UK's leading engineering organisations.

Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:

  • Support project planning, scheduling and progress tracking across multiple construction activities.
  • Coordinate contractors and site activities, including inspections, permits and work within live operational environments.
  • Monitor project costs, budgets, contractor payments and key project documentation.
  • Assist with health and safety activities, including toolbox talks, RAMS reviews and CDM compliance.
  • Manage project reporting, risk and change registers, while supporting stakeholder engagement and issue resolution.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at Rosyth.

Essential experience:

  • Experience supporting the delivery of construction, infrastructure or facilities projects.
  • Experience working in site-based environments and coordinating contractor activities.
  • Understanding of project management principles, including planning, cost control, reporting and risk management.
  • Working knowledge of health and safety requirements, including CDM 2015 or similar regulated frameworks.
  • Background in an engineering, construction or related technical discipline.

Qualifications:

  • HNC or HND in Engineering, Construction or a related discipline.
  • Degree in Construction, Engineering or a related subject is desirable.
  • Working towards an Association for Project Management or equivalent project management qualification is desirable.
  • IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent health and safety certification is desirable.
  • Relevant industry experience in construction or infrastructure projects is desirable.

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
