The role:

As a Document Control Manager, you will play a critical role at the heart of a major nuclear infrastructure programme, supporting the delivery of Sizewell C. This is far more than traditional document control—you will lead the strategy, governance, and performance of records management across a highly regulated environment where accuracy, compliance, and quality are essential to safety and long‑term operation. This role is based at our Bristol site, working 37 hours per week with flexible working arrangements, with presence in Bristol required 1–2 days per week initially with further flexibility once embedded.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities:

  • Leading and embedding a project‑wide records management strategy and governance framework
  • Managing and supporting a team of records professionals across multiple programme areas
  • Ensuring contractors and suppliers deliver accurate, complete, and compliant lifetime quality records
  • Monitoring and reporting on records performance through key metrics, dashboards, and audits
  • Engaging with senior stakeholders and regulators to demonstrate compliance and continuous improvement

Essential experience:

  • Demonstrating proven experience in records or document control within large‑scale infrastructure or highly regulated environments
  • Working with regulators, senior stakeholders, and complex multi‑tier supply chains
  • Implementing and managing records management systems, standards, and quality processes (such as ISO frameworks)
  • Leading teams and driving performance in a project‑led delivery environment
  • Applying strong governance and compliance principles in safety‑critical industries

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualification in information management, quality management, engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Professional membership or certifications in records, document control, or quality management would be advantageous

Security Clearance:
