The role:
- As a Document Controller, you will play a vital role in supporting high-profile submarine programmes that are critical to national defence.
- Working within a fast-paced, project-driven environment, you’ll ensure the accurate management and control of key documentation across Nuclear Operations.
- This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements. Set working times are Monday to Thursday 7:30am – 3:30pm and Friday 7:00am – 12:00pm.
Responsibilities:
- Provide efficient administrative and document control support to multiple teams within Nuclear Operations.
- Create, record, file, distribute, and securely dispose of documentation in line with procedures.
- Manage SharePoint sites and maintain accurate, organised document management systems.
- Attend meetings, take minutes, and ensure timely distribution of records and supporting documentation.
- Liaise with internal teams and customers to coordinate meetings and respond to routine enquiries.
Essential experience:
- Demonstrated experience working within an office or administrative environment.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with SharePoint systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management capabilities.
- Effective problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Qualifications:
- GCSEs in English and Maths at grade C/4 or equivalent - Essential.
- NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent - Desirable.
Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
