Drive Innovation in Defence Engineering

The role
As a Digital Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to influence team strategy, shape digital delivery, and develop your career in a growing, innovative environment. Day-to-day, you’ll be at the forefront of digital transformation in engineering, supporting major defence projects that safeguard the UK’s future security. You’ll configure and maintain CAD systems, manage complex data across multiple disciplines, and ensure best practice in model management.
- Configuring and providing ongoing support for CAD software on major projects
- Supporting users with best practice and model management
- Managing data across multiple disciplines, including audits and quality checks
- Conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for software upgrades and new applications
- Producing and maintaining project and overarching function procedures
This role is full time 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.
Essential experience of the Digital Engineer
- Mechanical design or engineering experience
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and Vault for 3D CAD model and data management
- Strong problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset
Qualifications for the Digital Engineer
- BTEC National Diploma or higher in Engineering (or equivalent experience)

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
