The role:

As a Business Support Administrator, you’ll provide administrative support to team members to ensure efficient operation of the company’s activities and to assist the field staff in the achievement of agreed performance levels. Day-to-day, you’ll be part of a team supporting MOD apprenticeships. You’ll support 20 assessors in total with any paperwork, reviews, filing, emails and support the soldiers in their apprenticeship by importing any paperwork, as well as:

  • Provide administrative support for the MoD Contracts and assist the Supervisors and Support Service manager in the effective and efficient running of the contracts.
  • Maintain accurate filing of Learner files and funding body paperwork.
  • Ensure Learner files are managed to auditable standards.
  • Ensure all MAYTAS responsibilities including data entry are carried out and maintained in a timely and accurate manner as indicated by the Admin supervisor.

This role is full time, based on site at MOD Lyneham, situated between Chippenham and Swindon, working 37 hours per week.

Essential experience:

  • IT literate in regard to Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications.
  • Good organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Works well to support a team.
  • Self‑motivated with ability to self‑manage.

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
