The role:

  • Support the delivery of business analysis across submarine support and engineering programmes, helping to improve processes, systems and decision-making within a complex defence environment.
  • Work within the Digital Solutions team, contributing to innovative tools, data-driven insights and technology solutions that enhance operational performance across the defence enterprise.
  • Develop your career in business analysis, gaining exposure to large-scale engineering programmes and working alongside experienced professionals in data, digital and engineering disciplines.
  • Play a meaningful role in helping deliver improvements that directly support national defence capability.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting the identification, analysis and documentation of business requirements.
  • Analysing business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
  • Assisting in the development of digital and business solutions aligned to stakeholder needs.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to support programme delivery.
  • Producing clear reports and documentation to support decision-making and change initiatives.

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.

Essential experience:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Understanding of business analysis techniques and business process improvement methods.
  • Awareness of system development lifecycles such as Agile or Waterfall.
  • Ability to capture and document business requirements effectively.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in an information technology-related discipline or equivalent relevant experience - Essential.

The successful candidate must be a sole UK National who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
