The role involves:
- Leading the delivery and continuous improvement of apprenticeship and staff development programmes.
- Supporting apprentices throughout their learning journey through coaching, mentoring, and performance monitoring.
- Coordinating structured learning plans with training providers and internal stakeholders.
- Identifying skills gaps and implementing development initiatives to support workforce capability.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality, and apprenticeship standards while driving continuous improvement.
The role is based onsite at Bovington, with working times from Monday to Thursday, 08:00 to 16:30 and Friday, 08:00 to 13:00, totalling 37 hours per week. Travel to our site at Lulworth will also be expected.
Essential Experience:
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven planning, organisational, and time management abilities.
- Experience supporting learning, development, training, or apprenticeship programmes.
- Ability to coach, mentor, and motivate individuals to achieve their goals.
Qualifications:
- Educated to Level 2 in the National Qualifications Framework (for example GCSE Grade 4/C or above, NVQ Level 1, or equivalent qualification).
Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
