The role is full time, 37 hours per week, and based in Bristol offering hybrid working.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Leading the execution of our Business Winning strategy.
- Conducting colour team reviews to ensure top-notch proposals.
- Performing in-depth competitor analysis to stay ahead of the game.
- Overseeing win strategy reviews and boards to refine our approach.
- Managing and being accountable for bid programmes from Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) to Contract Award.
- Working with opportunity owners and business development teams to develop and provide customised business winning solutions and strategies.
- Leading and chairing Governance and Approval activities associated with Business Winning.
- Identifying and championing the win themes and business winning strategy in collaboration with the Opportunity Owner.
- Ensuring all Customer requirements are captured in the tender submission.
- Working with the Business Development teams to ensure that Capture Plans are handed over to the bid team at a sufficient maturity to support the clear articulation of the win strategy in the tender documentation.
- Ensuring the bid submitted meets the agreed business format, presentational standards, content and compliance with company and customer guidelines.
Essential experience includes:
- Experience in business winning, development, capture and solution development with demonstrable success in previous roles.
- Demonstrable experience in building relationships and leading pan-business cross functional teams.
- Able to manage/lead Customer and Supplier engagement meetings at senior/board level with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Leading business winning activities on major bids.
