About the business unit

The Energy unit delivers services to clients globally across several sectors including hydropower, nuclear, waste, renewable generation and transmission & distribution networks. Together we provide integrated engineering and project management services across the project lifecycle – from concept and design to construction and operations, to decommissioning or repowering and life extension. Together with our clients, we’re helping to deliver the energy transition globally.


About the role

The Energy Unit, specifically the Nuclear; Defence and Civil division are recruiting for an Administration Assistant to provide support to the team based in Cumbria. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team where you’ll be working with colleagues committed to delivering excellence to our clients.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support.
  • Maintain and organise filing systems, ensuring effective document control.
  • Manage timesheets, including record-keeping and distribution to clients and agents on behalf of contractors.
  • Coordinate and facilitate training sessions.
  • Arrange travel accommodations, including booking cars, hotels, and restaurant reservations.
  • Maintain professional and courteous communication via telephone, email, and post.
  • Serve as a communication hub, ensuring all parties receive accurate and timely information.
  • Proactively anticipate the needs of others to ensure a seamless and positive experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to complete tasks independently using initiative.
