Design, issue, and amend cost-effective live traincrew rosters, including accommodation and transport resources.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure all rosters are safe, secure, reliable, and comply with Fatigue & Risk Management, customer expectations, commercial targets, national, railway, and nuclear regulations and standards, and Traincrew Terms & Conditions.
Adapt and Overcome: Manage rostering changes and reallocate work to traincrew in line with additional service requirements, cancellations, Short Term Plan (STP) paths, training, medical, and ad hoc demands.
Budget and KPI Focus: Work within budgetary and KPI parameters to ensure optimal performance.
Leave Management: Manage Traincrew annual leave in accordance with terms and conditions, ensuring everyone gets the rest they deserve.
Support the implementation of link changes into base and weekly/daily rosters, and liaise with internal stakeholders to optimize departmental output. Focus on cost management when building the weekly roster, making every penny count.
Training Plans: Work with internal stakeholders to deliver traincrew training plans, helping our team grow and excel. Provide Resourcing input as required to business development, commercial sales, and contract management activities.
Compliance and Safety: Comply with relevant procedures, work instructions, and terms & conditions relevant to the role, and keep up to date with training and safety policies.
Role Model: Embody the NTS cultural principles of Freedom, Helpfulness, and Drive, and champion equality, diversity, and inclusion within the Operations team.
General & Regulatory Responsibilities: Comply with all Company Rules, Standards, and Procedures required, including those relating to security, safety, and training.
