What Will You Be Doing

• In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and optimising control and instrumentation systems that are critical to monitoring and controlling plant operations.
• From planned maintenance to reactive fault finding, your work will ensure equipment performs reliably and safely within strict regulatory requirements.
• You’ll be diagnosing issues, carrying out repairs and calibrations, and ensuring all work is completed in line with procedures and safety standards.
• Working with engineering drawings and technical documentation, you’ll play a key role in identifying improvements, resolving defects and supporting the wider team in maintaining operational excellence across the site.

• You’ll be someone who enjoys problem-solving, works well as part of a team, and is comfortable operating in a highly regulated, safety-critical environment.

• You’ll have experience working in industries such as power generation, oil & gas, process or pharmaceuticals, with a solid understanding of maintenance practices and safe systems of work.
• Strong practical skills, attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical information are essential.
• While not mandatory, qualifications in instrumentation and experience within nuclear settings will further strengthen your application.
