NRS is looking for a Resourcing Specialist to shape hiring outcomes that directly support some of the UK’s most impactful infrastructure and engineering programmes.

What will you be doing? This is a role for someone who loves partnering deeply with the business, getting under the skin of workforce needs, understanding technical requirements and designing smart resourcing approaches. You’ll work closely with operational leaders, project teams and the wider People function to deliver high‑quality, end‑to‑end recruitment across engineering, technical and corporate roles. You’ll lead full lifecycle hiring with a strong focus on direct sourcing and proactive talent pipeline development. Your insight into labour markets and candidate behaviour will help shape decisions, influence hiring managers and ensure the right skills reach the right projects at the right time.

Beyond delivery, you’ll support our employer brand, contribute to key resourcing improvement projects, enhance our social media presence and use data to drive better outcomes and continuous improvement. Whether it’s optimising our ATS, enhancing candidate experience, or supporting diversity initiatives, you’ll be part of shaping a modern, developing resourcing function.

You’ll excel here if you:

  • Bring strong experience hiring in engineering, corporate, technical or project‑based environments.
  • Are proactive, curious, and confident partnering with and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Have the ability to identify and engage talent ahead of demand.
  • Enjoy building talent pipelines, crafting sourcing strategies and improving processes to deliver brilliant results.

If you’re driven, relationship-focused and ready to make a tangible impact on organisational capability and project delivery, we’d love to hear from you.
