Base pay range
Key Deliverables
- Undertake preventative planned maintenance activities
- Undertake corrective works including assistance with internal projects
- Respond to breakdowns and work with operations to ensure that maintenance and corrective works are completed safely and in a timely manner
- Support the effective deployment of company-wide policies, processes, systems and procedures ensuring that at all times the business remains compliant
- Produce accurate post-maintenance records in a timely manner
- Assist with ongoing reviews of Facility maintenance documentation
- Assist with the supervision of contractor activities within the facilities
Qualifications And Experience
- Time served mechanical apprenticeship β desirable
- Appropriate technical qualifications e.g. City & Guilds, BTEC, NVQ level 3 β essential
- Experienced in one of the following fields: machinist (manual lathe or milling machine), pressure systems, plant maintenance, fabrication β essential
- An awareness of safe working practices β essential
- Able to use protective clothing and respiratory protective equipment β essential
- Experience within a nuclear environment β desirable
- Experience of using quality documentation, work instructions and risk assessments β desirable
- Experience of interpreting technical drawings β desirable
