Permanent four-day week (Monday to Thursday) with a three-day weekend. Role supports a range of mechanical and electrical engineering projects across site at Dungeness Power Station, using AutoCAD and existing drawing records to create new drawings and update existing designs to maintain accurate information for maintenance, modifications, and future site projects. The role combines office-based CAD work with occasional site visits. You will work closely with engineers and project teams to ensure your drawings are used in practice and directly support the successful delivery of engineering work.
Responsibilities
- Create, update and amend engineering drawings using AutoCAD
- Maintain drawing revisions and ensure version control is followed
- Carry out occasional site surveys and inspections to support drawing changes
- Work closely with engineers and project teams to provide drawing support across a range of site activities
Working within a 37-hour working week condensed into four days (Monday to Thursday), giving you every Friday off.
Who we are looking for / Qualifications
- Qualified to NQF Level 3 (or equivalent) with CAD training
- Experience creating and updating engineering drawings using CAD software, ideally AutoCAD. 3D CAD software would be desirable, but not essential
- Exposure to mechanical drawings, with some understanding of electrical drawings and schematics
- Strong attention to detail, organisation skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders
