What Will You Be Doing

  • As a C&I/Electrical Project Engineer, you’ll take on a varied and dynamic role, supporting key phases of project delivery from installation through to commissioning and operational readiness.
  • You’ll be working across multiple activities, collaborating closely with internal teams and supply chain partners to ensure safe, efficient and high‑quality outcomes.
  • Supporting waste retrieval operations, including pumped and vacuum recovery systems.
  • Leading or contributing to installation, testing and commissioning of plant equipment.
  • Delivering electrical isolation, decommissioning and small‑scale installation works.
  • Enabling safe and effective waste processing through encapsulation systems.

Who Are We Looking For

  • You’re an experienced C&I/Electrical Engineer who thrives in a project environment and enjoys solving complex technical challenges.
  • You bring proven experience working with process plant and equipment, with a strong ability to diagnose faults, develop solutions and see them through to implementation.
  • Confident and collaborative, you’re comfortable engaging with system owners and stakeholders to ensure successful integration of plant into operational environments.
  • You’re also adaptable and ready to take on a range of responsibilities and contribute across disciplines where needed, always operating within your competence and qualifications.
  • Strong background in C&I or Electrical engineering within process or industrial environments.
  • Demonstrable experience in fault finding, diagnostics and developing repair strategies.
  • Ability to integrate plant systems and instrumentation into existing site infrastructure.
  • A proactive, flexible approach with excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Minimum National Qualifications Framework (NQF) level 4 (HNC) or level 5 (HND) / SCQF level 7 or 8 in a relevant engineering or technical discipline.
  • Degree in a relevant engineering or technical discipline or working toward one.
