We're looking for a proactive and commercially minded Site Services Contract Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of site-based service contracts, ensuring seamless delivery, exceptional service standards, and ongoing value for money. This is a highly visible role where you'll collaborate with Asset Management, Engineering, Infrastructure teams, and key suppliers to optimise contract performance and support strategic business objectives. What will you be doing:

  • You will lead and coordinate the delivery of all site service contracts, optimising CEMAR where possible, ensuring work is effectively planned, scheduled and delivered in partnership with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • You’ll drive contract performance through robust administration, reporting, and communication, ensuring service levels consistently meet business expectations.
  • You will champion safety and compliance, ensuring all contracted services operate in line with statutory requirements and Asset Management strategies.
  • Continuously review site service requirements, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, maximise value for money, and deliver sustainable cost savings.

Who are we looking for:

  • Strong planning, coordination, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across multiple teams and suppliers.
  • Have commercial awareness with the ability to monitor performance, challenge costs and identify opportunities for service improvement and savings.
  • Significant experience within Operations, Maintenance, Facilities Management, Engineering or Technical functions gained in a nuclear environment or a similarly regulated, high-hazard industry, with a strong understanding of site operations and service delivery.
  • Proven knowledge and experience of maintenance and facilities management activities, including managing service contracts, work planning, scheduling, contract performance management, plant operations and the successful administration of NEC contracts.
  • A strong understanding of regulatory, safety, and compliance requirements, including site licence conditions, CDM regulations, company procedures and statutory obligations, with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and coordination skills, supported by experience using CAFM/CMMS systems, enabling you to manage multiple stakeholders, optimise service delivery and drive continuous improvement across site-based contracts.

You will be:

  • A relevant National Qualification Framework (NQF) level 4 (HNC) or level 5 (HND) / SCQF level 7 or 8 in relevant qualification or equivalent.
  • Proven contract management experience, including working knowledge of NEC contracts and CEMAR, with the ability to effectively manage supplier performance and contractual obligations with detailed knowledge of practical procedures and systems, including Standards, MCPs, LSIs etc.
  • Substantial knowledge of the maintenance/FM aspects of nuclear and conventional plant as well as maintenance/FM planning and operations at nuclear sites, work scheduling and projects ongoing at the site.
  • An understanding of the organisation, functions & projects on the site and off-site support with an appreciation for Company’s requirements related to plant modifications at nuclear sites.
  • Have excellent planning and co-ordinating skills as well as communication skills to acquire and impart delivery information on term service contracts.

It would be advantageous to have:

  • A recognised project management qualification such as APMP or equivalent practical experience, enabling you to successfully coordinate and deliver complex work programmes.
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification (or equivalent health and safety knowledge).
