About The Role
NRS is the Nuclear Restoration Services Limited, a division of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority. The role is for an Administrator / document clerk within the site Engineering team at Oldbury Nuclear Power Station, located on the Severn estuary (decommissioning phase). The individual will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Engineering team. They must be highly motivated, delivery focussed, self-driven, well organised and have good planning and communication skills. A high quality of work is essential.
Key Deliverables
- Work effectively as part of a team.
- Apply attention to detail to maintain and improve the quality of the company management system.
- Act as a proactive focal point for information across the whole site.
- Maintain functional databases and effective filing and retrieval systems, where appropriate.
- Demonstrate problem solving capabilities and independent working.
- Identify issues with document quality and highlight appropriately.
- Demonstrate good communication skills to liaise with different departments around the site for efficient handling and processing of documentation.
- Coach users in the use of document creation, editing and navigation of the management system.
- Provide general administrative support to the team when required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Educated to A level or equivalent (essential).
- Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint (essential).
- Experience of providing a wide range of administrative support activities (essential).
- Experience of working in a relevant technical function such as engineering, quality, health & safety (desirable).
