Nubah Social Care is expanding its East London team and seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants (Auxiliary Nurses) to provide compassionate, person‑centred care in clients’ homes and community settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor vital signs, conduct urine tests, and assist with blood sample collection
- Support medical examinations and treatment preparations
- Deliver personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance)
- Aid in meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring adequate hydration
- Maintain clean and safe environments (e.g., tidying rooms, changing bed linen)
- Collaborate with nurses and other professionals in homes, hospices and hospital wards
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a healthcare support role (preferred)
- Background in dementia care, residential, or community care settings
- Confident administering basic first aid and supporting medication protocols
- Physically fit to perform care tasks (including moving and handling)
- Warm, empathetic communication style and strong interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with domiciliary care practices and complex care requirements
Entry Requirements
- NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable)
- Enhanced DBS check mandatory (will be facilitated)
- Full training provided for successful candidates
Additional Information
- Education: A Level or equivalent preferred
- Language Skills: Fluent spoken and written English
- Driving Licence: Full UK Driving Licence preferred
