Nubah Social Care is a community-based home care provider, regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) under the "Homecare Service Provider" category. Our primary goal is to offer coordinated and comprehensive home health care services to individuals who are home‑bound, ensuring they receive the support they need in the comfort of their own residences. We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Care Worker (male and female) to support clients in their own homes across the North London N area (preferably N1, N4, N15, N16, N17). You will mostly work alone with the customer in their home. Compassion, good communication skills and a calm and caring manner are essential for this important role. You will safely provide compassionate care and support that is centred on the individual needs and wishes of each customer, respecting their choices and promoting dignity. You must report any changes or concerns to your line manager promptly, and seek help and advice to keep customers safe and promote their well-being.

Duties
- Care and support: Provide non‑discriminatory care that values the diverse and unique qualities of each customer. Follow instructions in the care and support plan agreed with each customer. This includes:
- All aspects of personal care: Showering and bathing, dressing and grooming, toileting and continence care, teeth and dentures, medicines
- Eating and drinking: Help plan meals, gentle encouragement, shopping, preparing and serving food, cleaning kitchen area
- Safety: Safe use of aids and equipment, standing/walking frames, wheelchairs, hoists, sliding sheets, audio aids
- Housework: Washing floors, vacuuming, sweeping, laundry, ironing, making beds, dusting, general tidying
- Social and physical activities or mental stimulation
- Support activities: Answer door/visitors, answer emergency bells and telephone, write cards/letters/emails, take customers out for shopping or recreation, hobbies such as reading, photo albums, games
- Special care: Support through temporary and terminal illness, end‑of‑life care, hospital appointments, liaising with community health support and families
- Recording and reporting: Record and report all relevant customer information, changes to condition, equipment faults, hazards, emergencies, incidents, safeguarding matters
