Clearance: Active SC Clearance Required Your New Role We are seeking an experienced VMware Aria Operations SME to support a major programme focused on enhancing infrastructure and network observability within a secure environment.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in designing, configuring and optimising monitoring solutions across a complex enterprise estate.
Working predominantly remotely, you will be responsible for delivering visibility across infrastructure and network components through VMware Aria Operations and Aria Operations for Networks.
What You'll Be Doing Designing and developing Aria Operations alerts, metrics, dashboards and reports.
Configuring VMware Aria Operations and Aria Operations for Networks with customised monitoring policies and alerting.
Integrating infrastructure and network devices including hardware, virtual machines, storage platforms, Switches, Routers and Firewalls.
Configuring performance monitoring, capacity planning and observability solutions.
Enabling network flow visibility and dependency mapping.
Tuning alerts to reduce noise and improve operational effectiveness Developing dashboards and reporting for operational, infrastructure, network and security teams.
Supporting troubleshooting activities and root cause analysis.
Producing technical documentation, runbooks and knowledge transfer materials.
What You'll Need to Succeed Active SC Clearance (mandatory).
Strong hands-on experience with VMware Aria Operations and Aria Operations for Networks.
Experience customising alerts, metrics, dashboards and reports for operational and technical teams.
Strong understanding of NSX and core networking concepts.
Experience in infrastructure monitoring, alerting and observability solutions.
Knowledge of capacity management and performance tuning.
Experience integrating network and infrastructure devices using protocols such as SNMP and ICMP.
Previous experience working within secure or highly regulated environments.
