Overview
We are seeking a Recruitment Specialist to support the delivery of recruitment activity across a range of roles. Working closely with hiring managers and the wider People team, you will manage the recruitment life cycle, identify suitable candidates and ensure a positive experience for both candidates and stakeholders. This role will suit an experienced recruiter who is confident managing multiple vacancies, sourcing candidates proactively and providing recruitment support within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from vacancy briefing through to offer stage.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand recruitment requirements and provide appropriate sourcing support.
- Create and publish engaging job adverts across relevant recruitment channels.
- Source candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, recruitment databases and professional networks.
- Review applications, screen candidates and support shortlisting activity.
- Coordinate interviews and maintain effective communication with candidates throughout the process.
- Provide recruitment guidance and support to hiring managers.
- Manage candidate relationships to ensure a positive recruitment experience.
- Support offer processes, including candidate communication and recruitment activity follows agreed processes, policies and compliance requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and candidate attraction approaches.
- Support recruitment projects and initiatives as required.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience working within recruitment or talent acquisition.
- Experience managing multiple vacancies and candidates simultaneously.
- Strong sourcing and candidate identification skills.
- Good understanding of recruitment processes from attraction through to offer.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
- Strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise competing workloads.
- Experience using recruitment systems, LinkedIn and online sourcing tools.
- Understanding of UK recruitment practices and employment.
