About the Role
We are looking for an experienced HR Administrator to join a busy and collaborative People Operations team on a 6-month contract. This role is ideal for someone with strong HR administration experience who enjoys delivering a high-quality employee experience while ensuring accuracy across all People processes.
As the first point of contact for HR-related queries, you will support colleagues and managers across the full employee lifecycle. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, managing HR cases, and providing administrative support across a wide range of HR activities using Workday and other HR systems.
This is a hybrid opportunity based in Warwick, with an expectation of 2-3 days per week onsite.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver efficient and accurate HR administration across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, employee data changes, benefits, reward, and immigration support.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure timely updates within the HR system (Workday).
- Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Manage and resolve employee and manager queries through the HR case management system.
- Complete right-to-work checks and ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation.
- Support key annual HR processes including performance reviews, promotions, talent activities, and reward cycles.
- Assist with HR projects, organisational changes, audits, and data updates as required.
- Produce regular HR reports and analyse workforce data to support business needs.
- Maintain and update process documentation to ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
- Build positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external service providers to deliver an excellent employee experience.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the HR Operations function.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an HR Administrator or HR Operations role.
- Experience supporting a wide range of HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
- Strong working knowledge of Workday or a similar HR Information System.
- Experience using HR case management systems.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to produce and analyse HR reports.
- A customer-focused approach with the ability to build effective relationships across the business.
- Experience working with external suppliers or third-party service providers.
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement and personal development.
Desirable
- Experience working within a unionised environment.
- CIPD qualification or working towards one.
