Our client, a leading organisation, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Material Planner to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the supply chain and the successful delivery of part orders, contributing significantly to the master production plan.

About the Role

  • Building and Maintaining Delivery Plans: Create detailed plans for specific part orders, ensuring alignment with customer and business requirements.
  • Collaborating with Supply Chain Management Team: Provide insights into delivery schedules and their implications for production and customer satisfaction.
  • Stock Management: Plan and oversee stock levels across the supply chain, maintaining necessary inventory in the right order and timeframe.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Act as the primary interface with suppliers, coordinating improvement activities related to planning, control, inventory, and delivery.
  • Process Compliance: Ensure adherence to company systems and processes to mitigate potential delivery hazards.
  • Managing Delivery Issues: Report shortages and recovery programmes to ensure adherence to the committed plan.

Your Profile

  • Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, or Logistics: A solid foundation in production planning and controls is essential.
