The Opportunity:

This is a pivotal role for an ambitious individual who thrives on identifying and converting new business opportunities. You will be instrumental in expanding our clients' book of business, forging strategic partnerships, and contributing directly to their continued success. You'll be given the autonomy to shape your approach, supported by a dedicated team and market-leading products/services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities through various channels, including market research, networking, cold outreach, and leveraging industry connections. (Some leads are provided)
  • Relationship Building: Develop and nurture strong, lasting relationships with prospective clients, key decision-makers (e.g., business owners, HR managers, fellow brokers, specific industry stakeholders), and introducers.
  • Solution Presentation: Conduct compelling presentations and product demonstrations, clearly articulating the value proposition of our clients' insurance solutions and how they address client needs.
  • Needs Analysis & Tailoring: Conduct in-depth needs analysis to understand client requirements and challenges, then expertly tailor insurance solutions to meet their specific objectives.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations and effectively close new business deals, consistently achieving and exceeding ambitious sales targets.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust sales pipeline using our clients' CRM system, ensuring accurate forecasting and detailed reporting of activities and progress.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes (e.g., FCA guidelines) to identify new opportunities and inform strategic discussions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Underwriting, Claims, Account Management, and Marketing, to ensure seamless client onboarding and ongoing satisfaction.
  • Brand Ambassador: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions, enhancing our reputation and expanding our professional network.
