The purpose of the role is to deliver an effective outreach service to rough sleepers across Leicestershire and Rutland. The post will aim to reduce rough sleeping numbers in the county by proactively finding and supporting individuals who are rough sleeping.
Responsibilities
- The role will focus on sourcing accommodation, breaking barriers to engagement, and improving health and well-being.
- It will involve working as part of the Rough Sleeper Outreach Team and collaborating with other statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure the best outcomes for rough sleepers.
Benefits and Working Conditions
- 36.25 hours per week with an annual salary of £28,598 (band D £28,598 to £32,061)
- Agile working scheme with a combination of home and office working
- 34 days holiday (including bank holidays), increasing to 38 days after 5 years (full time equivalent)
