We are now looking to recruit a full-time Design Project Manager to support the growth of our business while maintaining the high standards of service we deliver to our customers.

Job Overview

We are seeking a solution focussed and enthusiastic Operations and Installations Manager to join our team.

This role is perfect for someone who has exceptional organisational skills, used to working under pressure, with experience of providing exceptional customer service.

This role will be working in a team alongside our in-house design team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for actioning all activities following design sign off through to installation completion, as well as showroom administrative tasks

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver successful kitchen installations inline with budget and time estimates.
  • Engage with existing clients and build relationships with new customers to facilitate a successful installations.
  • Identify and implement practical solutions to issues on site.
  • Place orders with suppliers, and work with suppliers on all aspects of order placements and order management
  • Re-order any items delivered damaged within the required timescales
  • Schedule installations in accordance with manufacturing times, client preferences and fitting availability and liaise with subcontracted fitters / tradespeople as required to ensure a clear timeline for each project.
  • Manage and check deliveries into the showroom.
  • Logging and booking in all snag visits
  • Liaise and communicate with our fitters and builders on site.
  • Complete service plans ahead of installation (training will be provided).
  • Work as a team player to support, learn, and understand existing projects
  • Oversee projects from start to end & be a point of contact for customer inquiries.
  • Manage client payments, and reconcile actual costs vs project costs following installation completion.
  • Work with the showroom and fitting teams to organise and maintain stock and showroom supplies.

Requirements

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office package.
  • Extremely competent multi-tasker, who is comfortable juggling many projects at once.
  • Ability to consistently deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Adaptable and able to switch tasks to deal with urgent matters.
  • Keen eye for design, detail, space, and functionality.
  • Positive, confident, polite, and professional attitude.
  • Being a team player
  • Ability to communicate professionally face-to-face, via telephone, and email.
  • A background in design or cabinetry design would be advantageous.
