We are looking to recruit a Production Technician to support the manufacture and assembly of our world-class instrumentation. As a Production Technician, you will play a key role within our production team, supporting the build and preparation of components and assemblies used in the manufacture of mass spectrometers. You will be responsible for carrying out hands-on production tasks in a safe, organised, and efficient manner, ensuring high standards of quality and attention to detail at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and preparing components prior to assembly
  • Constructing wiring looms and mechanical sub-assemblies to specification
  • Following standard operating procedures and engineering instructions
  • Completing tasks accurately and within agreed timescales
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised work area
  • Using tools and equipment correctly and reporting any issues promptly
  • Supporting continuous improvement within the production department
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet production schedules

Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail
