The Role – 4 x Positions Available
Known internally as Account Manager, you will manage and develop a section of Nu-Heat’s trade and new business customer base. This includes nurturing existing relationships and proactively sourcing new opportunities to drive long‑term sales growth.
You will manage the customer experience from initial contact through to order confirmation, specifying suitable systems, maintaining conversion and retention rates, and providing a tailored support package for your portfolio.
You will build and maintain effective relationships with existing and potential customers, qualify and follow up on new business leads, manage inquiries from lead creation to order confirmation, and contribute to personal and team sales targets.
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, 9am‑5pm.
Working style: Office‑based, 5 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Drive customer conversion.
- Develop trade customers of all levels through tailored service profiles to grow business at appropriate pricing and margin.
- Identify at‑risk customers, understand reasons for non‑purchase, and build the next project quote.
- Contribute to company development by improving customer satisfaction, responding quickly to calls, and suggesting improvements.
- Qualify leads to understand timelines, value and potential future business.
- Follow up projects and prospects to maximise sale opportunities within agreed SLAs.
- Investigate lapsed customers and unquoted prospects and plan next steps.

- Account management and business development experience.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and adapt communication style.
- Effective phone communication skills.
- Strong workload prioritisation to stay productive.
- High IT literacy.
- Target‑driven and resourceful.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Self‑starter able to work cross‑functionally.
- Knowledge of the H&V industry is desirable.
