Backed by lifetime technical support and award-winning customer service, our bespoke heating systems are precisely designed for our customers' projects, so they feel the difference. Now part of the Genuit Groups’ Climate Management Solutions (CMS) business unit, Nu-heat has ambitious growth plans.

This role will require travel between our Exeter site and our Honiton site.

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable HSE Manager to support our organization in maintaining a safe and compliant working environment. The HSE Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and promote a safe working environment. This role will lead initiatives to minimize risks, prevent accidents, and foster a culture of safety across the organization. The HSE manager will be required to work where necessary across our 3 sites in Honiton and Exeter. Hours will be 40 hours per week and will require flexibility. Some travel may be required to attend company health and safety meetings.

The Person

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent health and safety qualification.
  • Strong experience creating risk assessments, safe systems of work, and method statements.
  • Experience liaising with HSE, NRW, insurers and regulatory bodies.
  • Experience within a manufacturing and distribution environment.
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to conduct training and influence safety behaviour.
  • Proficiency in incident investigation and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
