Since then, we have been perfecting bespoke, high efficiency home heating systems whilst developing our own industry leading underfloor heating products along the way. The Role - 4x Positions Available
Known internally as Account Manager, in this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing your own section of Nu-Heat’s trade and new business customer base. This includes nurturing existing relationships and proactively sourcing new opportunities to drive long‑term sales growth. You’ll manage the customer experience from initial contact through to order confirmation, whether the customer has a live project or not. This involves specifying the most suitable system(s) for each customer, maintaining strong conversion and retention rates, and ensuring a tailored package of support is in place for your portfolio of accounts.
You will be expected to build and maintain effective relationships with both existing and prospective customers, proactively identify, qualify, and follow up on new business leads, manage enquiries from lead creation through to order confirmation and contribute to both personal and team sales targets. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be a confident, driven team player with a high level of focus and motivation in the sales arena. You should consistently deliver exceptional customer service and demonstrate commercial awareness. You’ll also be expected to maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Nu-Heat products and competitor offerings and understand relevant legislation affecting the renewable and underfloor heating (UFH) market through independent study or by requesting training where needed.
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, 9am‑5pm. Working style: Office-based in Honiton, 5 days per week (hybrid after probation). Responsibilities
- Customer conversion: Develop trade customers of all levels of business through clear ownership and account management, providing tailored service profiles as appropriate to facilitate business growth at appropriate pricing and margin levels.
- Retention: Identify customers that may be at risk of not retaining and understand why they didn’t purchase from Nu‑Heat. Obtain another project to quote for them, understanding what needs to happen for them to order from Nu‑Heat next time around.
- Contributing to Company Development: Improving customer satisfaction by answering incoming calls quickly, participating in company meetings, feedback any ideas for improvement.
- Lead to prospect conversion: Qualifying leads to ensure understanding of timescales, value and potential future business.
- Prospect to customer conversion: Following up projects to an agreed SLA to ensure conversion of sales opportunities is maximised.
- Follow‑up previous lapsed customers and unsuccessfully quoted trade prospects to understand why they didn’t purchase from Nu‑Heat and obtain another project to quote for them, understanding what needs to happen for them to order from Nu‑Heat next time around.
