Now part of the Genuit Groups’ Climate Management Solutions (CMS) business unit, Nu-heat has ambitious growth plans.
The Role
The Business Systems Administrator at Nu-Heat is responsible for the daily administration, support, and maintenance of IT business systems, including CRM/ERP platforms like Net Suite and Q&D.
Reporting to the CMS IT Business Partner, working closely with the Nu-Heat Finance Director and collaborating with Genuit Group IS teams, this role focuses on improving system efficiency, configuring platforms, and providing user support and training.
The Administrator ensures system compliance with Genuit IS policies, manages supplier support contracts, and assists in system improvement projects following Group PMO governance.
This role champions data-driven decision-making, promotes standardisation and automation, and maintains resilient, scalable business operations, all while embodying Genuit's trademark behaviours of "we work together," "we take ownership," and "we find a better way." Working hours: 37.5 hours per week.
Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
Working style: A hybrid role with meaningful in‑office presence, enabling close collaboration and strong partnerships across the business.
Responsibilities
- Strategic/Systems Support
- Support local adoption of Group ERP standards, working with Group/CMS IS and the Finance Director.
- Configure systems to meet operational needs while minimising customisation and technical debt.
- Identify and log improvement opportunities across processes, automation and simplification.
- Document requirements and change requests, preparing data and impact summaries for proposals.
- Support change management for new features, including training, documentation and communications.
- Improve management information through standardisation and automation.
- Manage supplier relationships to balance operational needs with strategic priorities.
- Operational Management
- Perform daily system administration including user access, roles and configuration updates.
- Monitor system performance, resolve support tickets and escalation vendor issues.
- Act as the local contact for IT suppliers for operational and support matters.
- Enforce Group security standards and escrow compliance issues to Group IS.
- Support business continuity and disaster recovery through runbook maintenance and testing.
- Provide user support and training with clear documentation for processes and changes.
- Produce reports and support data governance, including data quality checks and escalations.
- The Person
- Essential Experience supporting or configuring business systems/ERPs, ideally Net Suite.
- High-level of understanding of ERP architecture i. e. dependencies, data storage etc.
- Hands‑on user support and incident management, including working with third‑party providers.
- Strong understanding of user access management and basic IT security controls.
- Ability to produce and maintain management information and reports (SQL/reporting tools a plus).
- Clear communicator, able to explain technical issues simply.
- Motivated, solutions‑focused problem solver with a positive approach.
- Organised and reliable, able to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
- Customer‑focused and collaborative, building effective relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Comfortable working independently or within a wider IT/team structure.
- Good project management skills with a results‑driven mindset.
- Commercially aware with a strong customer focus.
- Proactive learner, keeping up to date with evolving systems and technologies.
- Desirable Net Suite Administrator certification or similar.
- Experience supporting systems within a PLC subsidiary or matrix environment.
- Familiarity with ITIL or incident/change management processes.
- Experience managing supplier contracts or SLAs.
