Delivery Manager/Project Manager

This is an exciting new opportunity for an experienced delivery manger/project manager with experienc eof working with supply chain partners and large-scale, complex projects.

You will be responsible for leading supply chain partners in delivering against business strategies, outcomes and benefits, within allocated annual budget, within agreed deadlines and quality standards.

Principal Accountabilities

Leadership and Co-ordination of Suppliers

Ensure IT capability required to enable Heathrow to achieve business priorities, is successfully delivered by our supply chain partners

Review and agree the project delivery plan to support delivery of all aspects required to realise the defined business outcome

Ensure smooth and efficient transition into business-as-usual support

Working with key partners to understand and define the business needs and deliver benefits and outcomes to the business

Lead scope on the project and ensure scope changes follow the defined approval process

Assist the business in creation of strategy and determine portfolio of projects to deliver the strategy

Visibility of dependencies and opportunities across projects, mitigate risks and remove blockers

Regulatory compliance and performance engagement with airline customers

Ensure all supplier work is contracted through the appropriate contract mechanisms and adhere to procurement processes and standards

Project reporting

Ensure the supply chain provide accurate and timely reporting of project progress

Experience and Skills

• Previous experience of leading the delivery of a portfolio of multiple projects of multi-million- pound value using agile and waterfall
• Delivering projects in highly complex and fast-paced environment
• Working in an outsourced model either as a client or supplier
• Accountability for all aspects of project delivery including financial management and commercial negotiation
• Oracle/ERP experience is desirable

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Hybrid (3 days/wk in London)

Salary: to 80k pa
