We’re looking for a Controls Engineer to join a growing engineering team delivering Special Purpose Machinery (SPM) projects for a wide range of industries. In this role, you’ll be involved in the design, development, and commissioning of PLC control systems, working with both Siemens and Allen-Bradley platforms. You’ll play a key role in taking projects from concept through to on-site commissioning, helping deliver innovative automation solutions for customers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- PLC programming using Siemens and Allen-Bradley systems
- HMI/SCADA development and integration
- Electrical control system design and documentation
- Machine commissioning and testing (factory and occasional site-based)
- Supporting installation and start-up of machinery at customer sites
- Working closely with mechanical and project engineering teams
What we’re looking for:
- Experience programming Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley PLCs
- Background in special purpose machinery, automation, or industrial systems
- Strong fault-finding and commissioning skills
- Ability to work across multiple projects and industries
- Willingness to travel internationally on occasion
