We are currently recruiting for a Junior / Graduate Controls Engineer to join a leading automotive project team supporting major JLR programmes in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer looking to develop their career within industrial automation and controls, working alongside experienced engineers on high-profile manufacturing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design, development and commissioning of control systems
- Assist with PLC programming and fault finding activities
- Work alongside senior engineers on automotive production projects
- Support on-site commissioning and continuous improvement activities
- Produce and maintain technical documentation
Essential Requirements:
- Allen Bradley PLC experience
- Degree/HNC/HND in Electrical, Controls or Automation Engineering
- Strong interest in industrial automation and manufacturing
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Desirable:
- Automotive manufacturing experience
- Exposure to JLR projects
- Understanding of commissioning activities
