An exciting opportunity has arisen within NTW Solutions Ltd, for the role of Maintenance Assistant. The suitable candidate will have previous maintenance experience, preferably within a healthcare environment, and sound written and verbal communication skills. This vacancy includes an attractive £2.5K welcome bonus – a rewarding welcome for a rewarding career. This vacancy will be based at the Hopewood Park and will also cover the surrounding community premises.

Main duties of the job:

  • The Maintenance Assistant’s role will require working within a multi‑disciplinary team undertaking planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks on mechanical, electrical plant, equipment and services, as well as grounds and gardens.
  • A flexible approach and an ability to undertake works associated with other trades is required.
  • The role involves driving between sites as and when required.

Pay: £26,499 per annum (or £13.55 per hour). There is potential to earn more, with enhancements offered for weekend work and on‑call duties.

Person specification:

  • Experience: Previous experience working in building, mechanical and electrical engineering. Experience in the operation, service and repair of relevant types of plant and equipment.
  • Skills & Knowledge: Demonstrated good understanding of health and safety. Meet the mobility requirements of the role.
  • Education: NVQ Level 1 in an appropriate engineering, building or construction environment (Diploma). GCSE or equivalent to include Maths and English is desirable.
