Job overview: As a receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for anyone visiting the site, providing a friendly and professional welcome. You’ll greet patients, visitors, staff and contractors, answering queries and ensuring everyone feels supported.
Main duties of the job:
- Providing a high quality efficient reception service and acting as a first point of contact.
- Providing a warm welcome to patients, visitors, staff, contractors and anyone else who visits the site and answering any queries.
- Answering the phone and dealing with any queries people have.
- Being proactive and working with a range of teams to deal with and resolve any issues you are faced with.
- Carrying out a range of clerical and administrative tasks, for the reception itself, as well as other teams.
- Issuing and controlling access to keys and fobs.
- Being conscious of your safety as well as mindful of patients' needs.
