As a Porter Supervisor, you will oversee a team that carries out a wide range of tasks, supporting better care for NHS services. Responsibilities include organising and overseeing the collection and movement of items, waste disposal, sorting and delivering post, and moving furniture. You will manage priorities, work flexibly, and solve problems as they arise. You will ensure vehicles are driven safely and that work is carried out efficiently, sometimes outdoors in all weather conditions. There may be interaction with patients, so you will promote safety and show sensitivity to their needs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading a team and ensuring a diverse range of tasks are completed to a high standard.
