Join Our Team as a Facilities Supervisor at the St Georges Park, Morpeth. Are you passionate about creating a supportive, engaging and safe environment for our staff and the individuals we provide services to?
Main duties of the job: We provide Facilities Support Services to a mental health and learning disabilities Trust. We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Supervisor to oversee our operations and ensure the highest standards of environments across Domestic Services, Catering, Switchboard and Portering. Pay: Band B (£14.64 per hour). We pay 25% enhancement, time and a quarter, on hours worked during a Saturday and Sunday.
Person Specification:
- Skills and Knowledge: Effective written and verbal communication skills, confident decision-making and good organisation, sound knowledge of food preparation and food service, in-depth knowledge of hygiene and health and safety legislation, including COSHH, customer care awareness, able to meet the mobility requirements of the role.
- Experience: Experience of different types of food and cleaning services, experience working in catering or cleaning.
- Qualifications: Hold a recognised Qualification such as NVQ Levels 1 and 2 in a relevant Soft FM department, NVQ Level 3 supervisory qualification or equivalent experience, Intermediate Food hygiene Certificate or willingness to work towards, Health and Safety Qualification.
