NTU International is preparing a proposal for the GIZ Global Gateway Investment Climate Reform (ICR) Facility, which supports partner countries in improving business environments and unlocking sustainable private investment. The Facility delivers demand-driven technical assistance to governments and stakeholders to design and implement investment climate reforms and promote inclusive economic growth. We are creating a pool of Trade Facilitation Experts for this project. Experts in this pool will be contacted for specific assignments as they arise. If you have relevant experience, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support reforms reducing trade barriers and costs
- Advise on customs, border procedures, and trade systems
- Strengthen regional integration and value chains
- Develop trade policy recommendations
Requirements:
Education
- Master’s degree in economics, trade, law, or related field
General Professional Experience
- Minimum 9 years of experience providing economic policy advice to governments
Specific Professional Experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience in business and investment climate reforms
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in trade facilitation or trade policy
Development Cooperation Experience
- Minimum 5 years in development cooperation projects
Languages
- English (C1 mandatory)
- Knowledge of French or Spanish (C1)
