NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EIB funded project called: EV Charging Infrastructure Ireland (CNC) and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project. The objective of the Assignment is to support Zero Emission Vehicles Ireland in finalising the procurement strategy and business model / partnering approach for publicly accessible destination and neighbourhood EV charging infrastructure, in preparation for the launch of concession or PPP tenders during the second half of 2026.
Duration: The intended start date is March 2026 and the services shall be provided for a period of 11 months from this date.
Qualifications and skills:- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Studies, Environmental sciences or Science/Engineering or another field relevant to the Assignment. (Minimum requirement)
- Working command of English language (CEFR C1). (Minimum requirement)
- At least 15 years of experience in road transport, transport infrastructure, alternative mobility / e-mobility infrastructure, or similar fields. (Minimum requirement)
- At least 5 years of experience in the development and delivery of alternative mobility / e-mobility projects in urban environments. (Minimum requirement)
- Experience in the design and implementation of smart mobility or EV charging projects/programmes at national or regional level, as demonstrated by at least 1 project in the EU. (Minimum requirement)
- Specific knowledge and experience in evaluating the business, economic and financial feasibility of EV charging or alternative fuel infrastructure projects as demonstrated by at least 2 projects. (Minimum requirement)
- Experience in leading strategic, economic or financial analyses of transport infrastructure or mobility projects/programmes for public authorities, as evidenced by at least 2 assignments. (Asset)
- Experience in advisory or technical-assistance engagements for public authorities in the EU under public investment programmes, including Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) Transport or similar EU-funded initiatives as demonstrated by at least 1 project. (Asset)
- Experience in financing or structuring of alternative mobility or e-mobility infrastructure investments as demonstrated by at least 1 project. (Asset)
- Advisory work with Irish national or local authorities on mobility. (Asset)
