We are seeking a Salesforce Delivery Manager to oversee the successful delivery of Salesforce projects and programs ensuring alignment with client needs and strategic objectives. You will report to the Head of Delivery and Governance within our practice. The ideal candidate will already be doing a similar role, will come with extensive expertise in Salesforce, a blend of technical ability, whilst demonstrating exceptional leadership, stakeholder management and delivery across global teams, a client centric and creative mindset in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Provide leadership and management for client delivery projects.
- Solid experience in managing Salesforce projects.
- Good understanding of core Salesforce functionalities.
- Knowledge of one or more Salesforce clouds.
- Project oversight, manage the planning, execution, and delivery of Salesforce solutions, ensuring projects meet client requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
- Manage individual projects or smaller project portfolios.
- Lead project teams, including developers, administrators, and business analysts.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects within budget and scope.
- Focus on tactical execution and operational efficiency.
- Build and nurture high-performance teams, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs, communicate project progress, and manage expectations.
- Identify potential risks in projects and implement proactive measures to mitigate them.
- Lead effective agile/scrum teams to deliver high-quality Salesforce solutions.
- Ensure that the solution accurately reflects and meets the defined expectations of the business.
- Identify and confirm risks/issues and appropriately manage and develop mitigating approaches.
- Follow and understand new Salesforce product and capabilities resulting from product releases and acquisitions.
- Manage the detailed level of effort estimates and translation to commercials for proposed solutions.
- Coach and mentor team members.
- Support in interviewing prospective candidates.
What experience you’ll bring:
- Extensive experience (typically 6+ years) across delivery within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- A minimum of 3 years in managing medium to large-scale Salesforce projects or programs.
- Proven track record of collaborating and managing global teams.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, best practices, and implementation strategies.
- Proven ability to manage projects and collaborate alongside cross-functional teams and manage diverse stakeholders effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration among team members and clients.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address challenges that arise during project execution.
- Familiarity with commercial models, agile methodologies and project management principles.
- Salesforce certifications across the 360 are highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
