We are seeking an accomplished and highly skilled Microsoft Fabric Solution Architect to join our Data Practice. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in designing and implementing Microsoft Fabric on cloud data platforms that are scalable, secure, and business-aligned. This individual will play a pivotal role in guiding enterprise clients through their data platform modernisation journey, leveraging Microsoft Fabric’s capabilities to enable data democratisation, advanced analytics, and AI-driven insights. As a trusted advisor, you will collaborate with client partners, business stakeholders, and technology teams to define Microsoft Fabric strategies, design robust architectures, and implement best practices. What experience you'll bring:
Key Competencies:
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing Microsoft Fabric architectures for enterprise clients.
- Strong consulting values with the ability to interface effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, ETL/ELT pipelines, and BI/analytics tools.
- Deep understanding of the data lifecycle (ingestion, storage, processing, governance, consumption).
- Ability to link business objectives with technology strategy and execution.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience leading data modernisation initiatives across multiple sectors (e.g., banking, insurance, telecom, public sector, manufacturing, retail).
Technical Expertise:
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Fabric core features.
- Proficiency in cloud ecosystems (Specifically Azure, optionally AWS and GCP are an advantage) and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform).
- Strong background in databases, data warehouses, and distributed processing frameworks.
- Familiarity with BI and data exploration tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Talend).
- Experience with data security, governance, and compliance frameworks.
- Expertise in large-scale ETL/ELT pipeline implementation using custom and packaged tools.
Experience, Qualifications, and Education:
- Experience: Minimum 7–10 years in data architecture, engineering, or consulting roles, with 1-2 years in Microsoft Fabric solution architecture.
- Education: University degree required. Preferred: BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field; Microsoft Fabric certification(s) strongly desirable.
