In this role you will lead design, development and operations of automated mainframe solutions on IBM z/OS. Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, maintain and support enterprise Mainframe Automation solutions
- Design, develop and implement monitoring and automation across IBM z/OS
- Create, modify, test and deploy automation rules, policies and event management
- Manage automation enhancement requests from business/tech teams
- Translate operational requirements into effective automation
- Ensure governance and enterprise standards compliance
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for automation incidents
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventative measures
- Develop and maintain REXX-based automation scripts and utilities
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to boost efficiency via automation
- Participate in automation modernisation and service-improvement projects
- Monitor system health and automation effectiveness across environments
- Support incident/problem/change management processes
- Create and maintain technical documentation and automation standards

Key Requirements:
- 8 to 15+ years in IBM Mainframe environments
- 5+ years hands-on experience in Mainframe Automation and Monitoring
- Strong experience with Broadcom OPS/MVS, IBM System Automation (SA z/OS), IBM NetView
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale production environments with high availability
- Proven expertise in automation design, implementation, troubleshooting and monitoring on IBM z/OS
- Strong REXX programming and automation scripting
- Proficiency with IBM z/OS Environment and related tools
- Experience with incident, problem and change management; ITSM
- Independent working style with strong analytical and communication skills
- Experience with globally distributed teams
