P&C Data Architecture & System Enablement

  • Support and help drive the build and evolution of SAP P&C systems, ensuring data structures are well-defined and future-proof.
  • Partner with IT, SAP teams, and P&C stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust data models.
  • Ensure P&C data is designed to support operational processes, reporting, analytics, and regulatory needs.

Data Privacy Models & Legal Alignment

  • Define and maintain P&C data privacy models in line with legal and regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR).
  • Ensure appropriate handling of sensitive and special-category employee data through clear classification and access models.
  • Act as a bridge between Legal/Privacy teams and system/data design.

Data Object Catalogue & Master Data

  • Define, document, and maintain a global P&C Data Object Catalogue / Master, including ownership, definitions, and usage.
  • Establish clear standards for P&C master data and critical data elements.
  • Ensure consistency of data definitions across regions, systems, and processes.

Data Lineage, Quality & Integrity

  • Define and build P&C data lineage models, ensuring transparency of data flows across systems and entities.
  • Support the development of Data Quality Indicators and Standards (DQIS) for P&C data.
  • Drive continuous improvement of data accuracy, completeness, and reliability across the P&C landscape.

Data Stewardship & Governance

  • Act as the global Data Steward for all P&C data, with end-to-end accountability for data quality and governance.
  • Define data ownership, stewardship roles, and governance processes within P&C.
  • Establish metrics, controls, and reporting to monitor data health and maturity.

Compliance, Risk & Audit (Embedded)

  • Ensure P&C data governance aligns with data protection, retention, and compliance requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits related to P&C data, systems, and processes.
  • Partner with Compliance, Risk, and Privacy teams to address issues and drive remediation where needed.

Stakeholder & Change Management

  • Work closely with P&C leadership, IT, SAP teams, Legal, Privacy, and regional stakeholders.
  • Drive adoption of data standards and governance practices through guidance, documentation, and training.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on P&C data matters across the organisation.

Essential Qualifications

  • Strong experience in data governance, data management, or data stewardship, ideally in a global environment.
  • Hands-on experience working with enterprise systems, preferably SAP in an HR/P&C context.
  • Solid understanding of data models, data objects, data lineage, and data quality frameworks.
  • Experience defining and managing master data and data catalogues.
  • Good working knowledge of data privacy and protection principles (e.g. GDPR) as they relate to system and data design.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across business, IT, and legal functions.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience specifically with People & Culture / HR data and employee lifecycle data.
  • Familiarity with data governance tooling, metadata management, or lineage tools.
  • Exposure to analytics or reporting use cases for P&C data.
  • Certifications in data management, privacy, or governance (e.g. DAMA, CIPP/E, SAP-related).
