The Director, Go-to-Market (GTM) Practice Solutions is a leadership role that drives business strategy and product development within a large country or regional environment. The role is responsible for aligning the practice with global solutions and services strategy, managing the practice growth, and ensuring sustainable performance across the assigned geography.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the creation and execution of the regional practice strategy, ensuring continuous integration and delivery.
- Lead and manage the transformation and growth of the practice across the assigned geography, portfolio, and/or solution.
- Own and optimize the solution portfolio investment, aligning with business strategies and priorities.
- Identify and create demand for solutions that drive sales and ensure financial viability, preparing and reviewing cost estimates.
- Collaborate across a matrix organization, ensuring performance goals are constantly reviewed and achieved.
- Facilitate regular practitioner and delivery training activities on relevant topics and subject matter.
- Support and maintain a community of practice for sharing information and best practices.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create, implement, and manage a technology roadmap that articulates positioning, capabilities, and features for delivery enablement.
- Document and manage the formal plan of record, including business outcomes, release plan, investment plan, resource plan, assumptions, risks, and issues.
- Lead solution design reviews to ensure capacity, profitability, and client requirement alignment.
- Define and implement standards and tools for new solution architecture, and deliver continuous delivery frameworks to establish a reliable and competitive practice.
- Recommend continuous integration tooling to support regions with automated build, test, and deployment, focusing on continuous quality improvement.
- Specify market requirements for current and future products or solutions by conducting market research supported by client engagement sessions.
Qualifications
- Fluency in technology-related topics with a natural interest in information services and technology.
- Significant knowledge of business and product solutions.
- Strong analytical mindset, capable of synthesizing complex information from multiple sources.
- High degree of personal maturity and confidence.
- Persuasion and influence capabilities, able to work with and influence senior business leaders.
- Strategic thinking paired with tactical operational management skills.
- Deep understanding of technologies relevant to the practice, project delivery methods, and marketing communications for solution promotion.
- Experience in solution product development.
- Change agent mindset, publicly identifying needed changes or directions for adjustment.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in information technology, computer science, information systems, business, or a related field.
- Relevant technology certifications.
- SAFe, Agile, Project or Program Management certifications desirable.
Required Experience
- Significant experience in a pre‑sales/sales and/or solutions practice leadership role within a global technology services organization.
- Track record of implementing and leading global product innovation strategies while delivering on short‑term financial goals and long‑term operational improvements.
- Experience managing and leading teams of technical and non‑technical individuals.
- Budget management and business development experience.
