We are seeking an experienced and highly strategic Senior Sourcing Specialist - Construction Services to lead and execute the Strategic Procurement for construction services supporting our EMEA data centre development programme. This role will play a key part in driving sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost‑effective and high‑quality procurement outcomes. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in data centre construction procurement and services procurement in a fast‑paced, complex environment.

What we are looking for:

  • Strong background in Procurement for data centre construction projects
  • Advanced experience in services procurement, including Architect and Engineering Design services, General Contractors, and third‑party services such as Project Management and Cost Management
  • Advanced experience conducting cost‑benefit analysis and evaluating vendors based on price, quality, and availability
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to maintain effective working relationships with suppliers and vendors
  • Broad expertise and knowledge of relevant quality standards related to products and services
  • Experience using procurement modules for managing purchase orders, supplier information, and contract management
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with strong documentation and reporting capabilities
  • Ability to operate calmly and effectively in a high‑pressure environment
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; relevant certifications (e.g. CSCP, CPIM) are a plus

What you will do:

  • Serve as the liaison between the business and vendors, ensuring effective communication and alignment
  • Source, vet, and audit suppliers; negotiate contracts and present deals to decision makers
  • Review and process requisitions to ensure timely order submission while negotiating costs, delivery schedules, and contract terms
  • Analyse comparative costs submitted by suppliers during RFP processes
  • Monitor and manage purchase orders, ensuring accurate documentation of vendor costs and on‑time order fulfilment
  • Advise on pricing, performance standards, and contractual agreements with suppliers
  • Develop and recommend sourcing strategies, cost‑saving initiatives, and new supplier opportunities to leadership
  • Generate monthly cost reports and present insights to key stakeholders
  • Mentor and support less experienced team members through coaching and on‑the‑job training
