The Energy Reporting Specialist (Metering & KPIs) will support the Optimization & Analytics Team by collecting and analyzing energy data, developing dashboards and reports, and supporting metering data quality across the global portfolio. The role has a strong focus on data analysis, KPI reporting, and performance monitoring, while also supporting metering structure, data validation, and governance activities.
What you will do
- Support metering data quality and support issue identification and rectification process with all stakeholders
- Support the identification of missing or additional metering required for performance measurement and billing purposes
- Collect, validate, and analyse energy, water, and fuel consumption data from multiple sources including BMS, metering systems, and energy platforms
- Develop, maintain, and improve energy performance dashboards and recurring reports (e.g. PUE, EER, CER, WUE)
- Support portfolio-level KPI tracking, trending, and performance analysis across multiple sites and countries
- Identify data quality issues, anomalies, and gaps in metering or reporting and support resolution with relevant stakeholders
- Support metering data quality, availability, and documentation including meter mapping and logs
- Assist with automated data capture and integration of metering and BMS data into central energy platforms
- Support compliance and certification reporting requirements (e.g. ISO 50001, EN 50600, etc)
- Provide analytical support for energy efficiency initiatives, business cases, and performance reviews
- Support sites with energy data, KPIs, and performance insights
- Maintain clear documentation, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders
What we are looking for
- Degree or relevant qualification in Energy, Engineering, Environmental Science, Data Analytics, or related field
- Strong interest in energy data, KPIs, and performance analysis; prior experience desirable but not essential
- Experience working with data analysis and reporting tools (Excel required; Power BI or similar desirable)
- Basic understanding of energy metering and Building Management Systems (BMS) desirable
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to data quality and accuracy
- Ability to create clear dashboards, reports, and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working with large datasets across multiple sites or portfolios desirable
- Experience supporting compliance or reporting frameworks (e.g. ISO 50001, sustainability reporting) desirable
- Proficient in English (written and verbal); German is a plus
- Ability to work in multinational, interdisciplinary and culturally diverse teams
- Presentation skills in formal and online settings
- Eagerness to learn, develop, share experience and make a difference
- Structured, organized, and proactive working style
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others
