Director, Global Investment in London

As our Director, Global Investment (m/f/d), you will inherit a key leadership role within the Investment team and be responsible for supporting the strategic planning, execution, and integration of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other corporate transactions. Reporting to the Vice President of Global Investment, this role plays a critical part in driving growth, expansion, and value creation through effective investment analysis, due diligence, and cross‐functional collaboration. The role will be based in London, full time and hybrid.

What you will do:

• Manage and mentor a team of investment analysts and managers, fostering professional development and performance.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on data‐driven analysis by monitoring market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities to inform investment decisions.
• Work with the Global Investment team to underwrite and execute business expansion opportunities via new leases, site and asset acquisitions, M&A, strategic partnerships and joint ventures.
• Manage the creation of detailed financial models and return sensitivity analysis on individual investments and aggregated portfolios with complex deal structures.
• Draft comprehensive Investment Committee Memorandums for presentation to the Investment Committee which include detailed property, return, tenant, market, economic, and risk analyses for each acquisition.
• Take the lead and work independently in coordinating due diligence for property acquisitions and dispositions until closing.
• Assist with SPA drafting and negotiations, review leases and service contracts of prospective acquisitions, coordinate with legal counsel on outstanding contract issues, and review and analyse third‐party due diligence reports.
• Set up and manage internal calls and meetings, produce/review minutes, actions and follow‐up on stakeholders.
• Create reports on an ad‐hoc basis and at the discretion of leadership, track progress across various workstreams in projects you are primarily responsible for and report them upwards.
• Perform other tasks and projects as assigned from time to time.

What we are looking for:

• Several years of experience in digital infrastructure (ideally data center) investments, including exposure to underwriting, valuing and due diligence.
• Relevant experience in real estate or other real asset classes is considered, but a strong preference for candidates with digital infrastructure experience.
• Excellent understanding of data centers, corporate finance and transaction structuring.
• A relevant Bachelor's degree (Master's is desirable) or similar professional qualification.
• Extended working experience in a strategic leadership and management position, preferably as a senior strategy manager in a fast‐paced and dynamic business environment.
• Extended experience in strategic planning and analysis, marketing/market research, competitive intelligence, and corporate business development.
• Proven track record of working in internal and external cross‐cultural and/or cross‐functional project teams, defining project requirements and developing briefing documents.
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a distinct advantage.
• Availability for business travel and short‐ and mid‐term stays abroad.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint – excellent financial modelling capability.
• Effective communication skills, including the ability to present and communicate to internal and external stakeholders.
