The HR Business Partner will collaborate closely with the assigned functions leadership across the EMEA region, to drive our people processes and strategy, organizational design, talent management and succession planning. This role ensures alignment between people initiatives and business objectives in a fast-paced environment to foster a high-performance culture. This is a full time permanent role with the opportunity to work from home.
What will you do:
- Provide “eye-level” HR Business Partnering to a defined function leadership within EMEA.
- Understand business goals, initiate new approaches and processes to effect continuous improvement to support business objectives, and organizational design/effectiveness.
- Coach line managers in their day-to-day leadership tasks.
- Take ownership of HR/ER cases and other areas where HR expertise is required to help navigate through change and growth situations.
- Guide managers on the right tools and access to advice needed for effective management of the performance of their people.
- Advise on people development within existing and new policies and procedures.
- Be available as a source of advice for managers to assist with employee challenges or concerns.
- Act as the employment law expert and provide timely advice on matters.
- Lead and contribute to initiatives to improve competence and capability of talent across the organisation.
- Closely collaborate across the HR functions to establish customized and practicable solutions.
- Support our Talent Acquisition and Management processes where required.
- Interact with a potential works council and other representation bodies.
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience as a HR Business Partner or similar role, preferably in a multinational/European Tech or IT environment.
- Strong understanding of organizational design, talent management, and succession planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; Master’s degree preferred or similar professional/vocational qualification.
- Effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills to influence decision-making.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and commercially astute.
- Comfortable with working in a highly matrixed global organisation.
- Coaching and development skills.
- Strong analytical and conceptual mindset.
- Fluent in English and German (verbal and written).
- Good command of standard HR IT platforms (ideally Workday).
- Experience in collaborating with worker representation/work council bodies in DACH region.
